Irma joined Leaf, Realtors® because the company’s commitment to technology integration and ethics struck a chord with her.  In 1986, with a partner, Irma founded a company specializing in digital document management and software integration solutions at a time when computers were only starting to appear in small business environments.  Irma’s primary role in the day-to-day operations was on the financial side: overseeing the bookkeeping, payroll, order entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.  In 2005, Irma entered the retail field at a boutique in Clinton and melded her understanding of the financial operations of a business to working with the public.  In this environment, Irma helped the owner of the boutique replace their manual system for tracking sales and inventory with a more efficient, computer-based program.  Irma’s role in this turn-around was in the initial implementation, ongoing maintenance, and training of staff.
Irma  is a member of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS), the National Association of Realtors®, the New Jersey Association of Realtors® (NJAR), and the Hunterdon/Somerset Association of Realtors® (HSAR).  Irma has obtained certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions V9 and Intuit Point of Sale V8.
Irma was born in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She lived in California from 1960 until 1973, when she moved to New Jersey.  Irma has owned and rented properties in Hunterdon County since 1990, where she raised her three children. In Irma’s spare time, she enjoys reading, working on computers, and spending time at home with her daughter, Annie, and her toy poodle, Shaylee.
